Tarantella so far ...
London, here we come!
Details are still yet to be confirmed for the International Dance Festival in London this Summer however the girls are getting excited to perform the Tarantella yet again. Bringing together girls from different schools in Malta has always been the aim of Living Dance and the Tarantella is doing just that. This group shows the potential Maltese performers have. Already winning two awards with the number they are set to make it three come August 2016.
Performance in aid of Inspire
Malta, February 2016
The girls have kept up the rehearsals going for London however they have found the time to perform the Tarantella in aid of Inspire. The performance took place on the 27th of February 2016 at Razett tal-Hbiberija. The performance was organised by RAD Malta to help raise funds for the Inspire Foundation. Living Dance attended as a special guest and opened the second half of the show.
Mediterraneo International Dance

The group travelled to Acitrezza in Sicily to take part in an international competition. The girls danced their best yet and managed to place first in their category gaining yet another award with the dance.
They have now been asked to travel to London to perform the Tarantella again at an International Dance Festival. |
MIDCE Competition
Malta, March 2015

To give more opportunities for the talented dancers chosen to perform at the International Ballet Gala it was decided to enter the number in the MIDCE competition which was held at the Mediterranean Conference Centre in Malta in March 2015. After a few more rehearsals the girls were ready to dance the number they had worked so hard to perfect. We are pleased to announce that they have placed third in the Teens Group Ballet Category and have also been invited to perform the number again in Sicily for another international competition.

International Ballet Gala
Living Dance has teamed up with the International Ballet Gala to offer ballet students the opportunity to perform with the Ballet stars from the Bolshoi Theatre, Marjinsky, Stanislavsky & Mikhailovsky Theatres with some of their finest ballet dancers. Over 50 aspiring young dancers from different dance schools in Malta came to audition. The girls perfected the dance over a few weeks of intense rehearsals where they where thought the Tarantella. The performance took place at the MCC in Valletta.
