Living Dance 2023 welcomed back Emma Loftus, Sarah Vella, and Jay Asolo as part of the team once again. Emma taught Musical Theatre, Sarah led Contemporary, and Jay taught Hip Hop. Their continued contribution played an important role in shaping the year’s success.

We were also proud to expand the Living Dance family by welcoming Liliána Bozsányi, who taught Ballet and Contemporary; Natalia Sacilotto, who taught Ballet; and Sandra Mifsud, who led Yoga for Dancers.

A special welcome back also went to Douglas Comley, who returned from previous Living Dance programmes to teach Progressive Contemporary Technique.

Liliana Bozsanyi

Picture
My name is Liliána Bozsányi. In 2019, I graduated from the classical ballet department of the Hungarian Dance University. Subsequently, I became a character soloist at Ballet Pécs. The following year, I worked as a dancer at the Central Europe Dance Theatre in Budapest. During this period, I also completed the classical ballet master's course at the university, obtaining a teacher's diploma.
Throughout the years, I have had the privilege of collaborating with numerous esteemed choreographers, including Anton Lachky, Igor Kirov, Yaniv Abraham, Gustavo Ramirez Sansano, Gay Zmavc, Yvette Bozsik, and Bea Egyed. Additionally, I have expanded my horizons by participating in various master courses worldwide, such as the Wayne McGregor Course, Contemporary Dance Summer School in Koszecin, Kibbutz Ga'Aton, and Dancs Piran Summer Course.
I had the opportunity to partake in a choreography project organized within the renowned Prix de Lausanne ballet competition. Goyo Montero crafted the choreography for our performance. Notable accolades include the Hungarian Republican Scholarship, Ferenc Havas Memorial Award, and a first-place at the Monodance Festival.
Presently, I work as a freelance dancer and teach contemporary and ballet. I have also gained exposure to various facets of the film industry, engaging in multiple projects.
Overall, my aspiration is to be a versatile and accomplished dancer who brings a unique and captivating essence to the stage. I am committed to hard work, personal growth, and embracing every opportunity that comes my way.
